John Hoekstra
John Hoekstra received his undergraduate degree from Carthage College in 1980 and his law degree at the University of Iowa in 1983. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1983 and the Illinois Bar in 1984. He is also licensed to practice in the US District Court, Central District and the US Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.

After receiving his law degree, Mr. Hoekstra practiced for and became a partner in a large insurance defense law firm where he concentrated in defending insurance companies on personal injury and worker's compensation claims. Mr. Hoekstra worked at this firm for ten years defending his insurance clients on these claims and developing extensive trial and litigation experience. Dealing with and defending insurance companies has provided Mr. Hoekstra a wealth of experience and insight on how to guide you to the maximum results on your claim.
In 1995, Mr. Hoekstra moved to Central Illinois to begin representing the rights of injury victims. He has built a successful private practice based on referrals from past clients and others who know of his reputation for quality and professional legal services. Mr. Hoekstra now has more than 30 years of trial and litigation experience in virtually every area of the law. Through the years, he has obtained well over $7 million in settlements, workers' compensation awards, and verdicts for his clients.
